Hullo!
Well, yes, in principle just unscrew the old ones and put the new ones back in. The contact between the plugs is via metal strip that unscrews from the top of them with some small nuts.
You'll need a relatively thin-walled and deep socket - I think its 12mm but don't quote me on that.
They might be pretty stuck in, so go very easy - you do not want to snap them in the block!! Penetrating oil and a very light tighten before trying to loosen helped me. Obvs be very careful not to drop anything (crud or worse) down the holes.
Have you made sure that the plugs are the right ones for the glow system you've got? There's several set ups, 12v and 6v, and the plugs aren't interchangeable. I think there's even a couple of different 6v ones which slightly different spec...
Good luck,

Thanks. Yep I have searched on here and think I have the right plugs the 6 v . The old ones do work just rough to start up so can always go back. _________________ Delica L300 1993 4WD manual. |

Grib,
Are the plugs you got working okay? Am I right in thinking you have the super-quick glow system set up?
Thanks _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

Yep I have the super glow system. The new plugs work great. Right amount of time between clicks and starts well. The only thing i have not tested is starting in very cold weather. It used to smoke and splutter. But will have to wait till winter for that _________________ Delica L300 1993 4WD manual. |

Grib.
Little tip for you = Warm the engine first.
Use 3/8" socket drive NOT 1/2"
And take it slow when removing the old GPs, apply gentle pressure and wait, then VERY gently apply more pressure,
wait a while in between increasing the pressure on your tool.
