Power steering pipe fix

I promised a picture of this fix a while back.

I cut the pipe either side of the where it goes through the chassis and pulled it out to one side.
I used 8mm compression fittings and some 8mm steel capillary pipe to replace the break.
Where the pipe touches the chassis rail I protected it with a bit of old fuel pipe (held with the red cable tie).

I did similar to mine last year, but was able to re-bend one of the forward loops of pipe to make up the extra (around 50mm) of pipe to connect up with just one compression fitting.

So far, so good. No leaks, and passed MoT in December.
