|
|
Hi, anyone know what bolt size for the 6 bolts that join torque converter to flywheel? I don't have the originals and can't seem to find anything that fits the threads.
Any info would be much appreciated!
Thanks

robwdel.
I need some info. = Is the gearbox off the engine
Is the Torque Converter still on the Gearbox
I have seen similar bolts for that application (Not Delica) that use 10 mm * 1 mm pitch, which is slightly finer than 24 TPI
From what I can guess, I would think that the bolts could be 3/8 inch diameter
(as per Lewis' diagram) * 11 mm long and a pitch of 24 TPI. That would be equal to 3/8 ths UNF.
JUST GUESSING on the pitch tho.
HTH, if you can understand what I am trying to say

Hi, engines out of wagon but gearbox is still in place. Is weird caus I've tried just about every bolt poss (been breaking a few cars so plenty lying about) and nothing fits, even ordered sum 2nd handers from a Pajero 2.5td and looks like the pitch is wrong so hoping the above will do it.. So close to getting engine back in and hopefully firing up! I bought Deli as a non runner (almost no rust!) and after pulling engine to refurb crank seals, belts etc I found the previous fella hadn't bolted the torque converter to fly wheel. fingers crossed this'l sort it tho |
