And I thought it was supposed to be dry in the East today. It rained here too - no surprise - filling up the Lakes for the tourists.

Puzzled by size of bolt holding drive adaptor in place, smaller than 10mm but larger than 8mm(9mm?)
Smaller than 3/8 AF but larger than1/4 AF, will have to dig out my Whitworth/BSF sockets and spanners.
If not a universal socket if it will fit or the ubiquitous adjustable spanner.

Job done, but have now got a brand new speedo drive connector as the old one would not budge.
Had to recut the thread on the old one and fit the new converter to it.
Anyway; speedo is now working and Mitsi is back on the road!!

L400 "speedo" drive is easy to fit  :D

Mine packed up last year, started to show symptoms on the way to the Welsh meet.
Managed to get home before it stopped working completely - phew.

The L300 is a mechanical speed converter, actually all it is is a small gearbox that fits between the end of the speedometer cable and the gearbox take off.
I believe the L400 is electronic.

Don't suppose you have the link or item description for the drive off ebay? I've had a quick search but Can't find it, need to convert my speedo so my wife doesn't get done for speeding.

Cheers

Drive or converter?
Drive available from Mitsubishi dealer on special order.
Converter available on Ebay or Amazon.
