Hi all, I'm always a little anxious about posting on here as I'm not that technically minded but love my Delica which has just failed it's MOT.  The fail was on:

Track Rod end ball joint NSF and OFS excessive play
Anti-roll bar pin or bush excessive wear NSR and OSR

Does any one know where I might be able to pick these up to get my local garage to fit for me?

Thanks and have a cracking New Year.

Colin

Both will be available from your local auto-factor and lswhere on the internet.  I suggest you buy the parts and just pay the garage  for the labour.  However doing them yourself is fairly straightforward if you are able to wield a spanner and have access to a jack and a pair of axle stands.

The trackrod end info is shown on this post:- http://www.MDOCUK.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=37097

The anti-roll bar pin bush will be the front drop links.

You can see photos and info on this post:- http://www.MDOCUK.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=48275

I tend to buy suspension parts from a German company called Febest, who also sell on E-Bay, their prices are low, delivery is quick and the quality is good and often from the OEM manufacturer that has been re-packaged.

You can see info on Febest on the second link.

The advantage of having them fitted by your garage or tyre centre is that they can correctly set the tracking, so you don't waste fuel and tyres on scrub, and your vehicle will handle better, too.

Yeah!!! Mine were well out although the garage said they had reset them.
Got a tyre company to do it correctly.

No excuse for that, if you have asked them Ian. That's just incompetence or lying!
