I've just been on Flea bay looking for curtain rails and curtains. £100 for a bit of rail to do the back window... So straight over to E bay and its £9 for 4.5m of bendable curtain rail.  Has anyone fitted their own rail and curtains ??

Got some curtain rail from a caravan shop along with correct runners for Mitsi FI.
Easy to remove original rail and fit new. Had to do it because could not get runners to fit original rail.
Then fitted custom Thermal/Blackout curtains.
Have since transferred curtains to Mitsi UK now I've come home to stay.

Simple job to do:-

Buy material and make curtains.

Buy curtain rails, rivets and washers, plus a rivet gun if you don't have one:-

Remove panels and fit rails and curtains:-

Buy foil backed bubble wrap insulation and cut to shape for each window:-

Great ideas! How do you attach your foil bubblewrap to the windows? Are you using those little rubber suckers, and do you glue them on to the bubblewrap? Ta for the tips.

You can tuck them behind the side panel edges on the opening windows, just cut them slightly larger than the frame, open the window and slide them into place them close the window. The front doors also have enough of a bulge on the window seals to hold them in place, with a sucker or two in the middle. If you fit a bit of net to the top edge you can fix that over the door and leave the windows open a bit, without bugs crawling in.

On the tailgate and side door I used some of the little suckers used for holding plastic airtubes inside fishtanks. They have a raised bit, that hold the pipe, so just poke a hole in the bubble wrap and push them through. You can also fasten a bit of tube on the inside as well that helps to keep the bubble wrap from sagging:-

They aren't expensive:- fishtank pipe holders

Haven’t got any pics but I bought a curtain and rail set on eBay for about £85 earlier this year. Rails and curtains for each rear window. Easy to fit and look really good. I think I searched for Delica campervan curtains

Just had a look and they’re still selling them. Search Mitsubishi Delica Curtains and they are first result - company is called Curtainbay. If you message them for the number of windows that you want to cover I think they added a specific listing for me

Videos, in the shelf unit in your living room? (I think they are more likely Deli-porn, or records of your globe-trotting in Delicas!)

No video’s there.  Very Happy

The bottom shelf are double and triple pack Music CD albums. Mostly 60’s, 70’s and Northern Soul.

Middle shelf are a load of home made music CD’s, that I’ve recorded a couple of thousand old 45rpm singles onto.

The top shelf is full of blank audio CD’s, still in their cellophane wrappers, on the left. On the right are a dozen empty (redundant) x6 CD changer packs from an old Pioneer music system, that I binned several years back.

They have sat untouched for years, having now converted them all into mp3 files, on a SSD Drive.

Lewis doth protest too much, me thinks.

I thought the 'casting couch' was a dead giveaway.  Wink

Happy new year.
