Anyone know what type of bulb goes in the switch to illuminate it? Its the tiny bulb with white rectangle base 8mm x 4mm x 6mm ..

I just put an LED in it. Used the base from the old one, bent the legs of the LED around the white base. Did it to all my switch lights. So much better now. Hope this helps

Does the bulb come out of the white base?

Sorry can't remember where I got them, they are just very small LED the diode type.

Yep that's the sort of thing the 3mm ones. I think I just took a bulb in to maplins and asked for an LED the same size. I was surprised to find all of my switches light up, as when I got the van none of them did.
