Hi everyone,

Some 18 months ago I bought a set of replacement glow plugs for my L400 1996 Jasper.

I'm sure I read on this forum that NGK Y115T1 were compatible and recommended.

My van is in for service as we speak and they are saying the plugs are too long.

Is this the case, as they are reluctant to fit them.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The L400 Glow System requires the self regulating ceramic type, which have a regulating coil built in.

The Mitsu originally did their own branded ones CY05 and they are the NGK CY55, with CY05 being stamped on those made for Mitsubishi as an OEM product.

BLUE PRINT Supply a slightly different design, to avoid copyright issues.

The Blueprint ones definitely fit as I have them in mine.

Thanks again for your help.

Replacements on the way.

I bought NGK Y-115T1 plugs April 2016.  27k miles later and they are still going strong.  That's opposed to some BluePrint ones that £22 each for and lasted only 8 months.  At £7 each I'd get the NGK ones again.
