Hi all, my 2005 Deli doesn’t have the dashboard binnacle that houses the compass and inclinometer etc. My Shogun Sport had it and I thought it was a really nice looking feature. Can they be retrofitted?

The Binnacle, which Mitsubishi call a 'Field Meter' was a grade option, with three different options for the centre unit.

Compass centre unit

Internal - external Temp unit

Four corner impact/ collision sensors.

Retro fitting the pod, if you have the required cabling and connectors, is just a case of obtaining one, complete with the special bracket required to fit it.

Unless you have the additional compass wiring loom fitted behind the dash then the centre unit will not work.
The compass had one small connector block to the GPS unit shown in the photo above and a larger one to operate the display unit.

If you should manage to source the required loom retrofitting it requires removal of the entire dash to get at it.

So I guess first step is to see if the wiring is in place on my Deli and then try and find one. There are loads of shogun sport ones but not seen a Deli one for sale
