This might be one for the audiophiles. I've fitted an Edge 7800 amp, x4 80w at 4-ohms, going into pretty standard speakers (35w constant fronts, 230w peak rears (don't know their constant rating). I figure the Deli's alternator should be okay with that but am wondering it it'll also cope with an added sub at 75w constant. Not that I'd run it that high, don't want to go deaf.

Can the Deli handle it or should I call Scotty?

TIA guys. Smile

Going by your figures, at peak Watts the current would be around 56 Amps, somehow, I don't think so.

The 75 Watt would draw less than 6 Amps.

I would expect the whole lot to draw less than 35 Amps, at a reasonable volume - But then  Question

Best way to find what that lot will draw = Connect it all up, and check with an Ammeter,
in the Positive supply to the Amplifier.

Once engine is running and Glow Plugs OFF the Alternator should cope quite easily.
