Hi Flink,
Just booked weekend at Branscombe, will arrive Friday evening (M5 traffic dependent) as travelling down from Worcester.
Looking forward to meeting as we saw you this August on the Bridport Road.
As there is no mention, I presume they don't allow fire pits on the campsite.

1) Go on Deker, take Friday night off, if not the afternoon. Don't forget, Sun will be setting by 7.00pm, and you will be driving west.
2) 335 miles each way for me, so sadly, I'll give it a miss/ |
1) Well now, or not, I decided to have the Friday night off, since GETT (Get Taxi) took over Radio Taxis London,
my bank account is rapidly heading South, so I might as well go meet other Delica owners, whilst there is some finances available
2) Shame, would 'ave been nice to see you again.

Had it been summer, and I had an alternator that worked, I would have probably done it as part of a "grand tour". Been trying out that Old Coach Road, near Threlkeld today. There is a half mile stretch in the middle which has been so badly washed out, I didn't attempt it. However, found a potential wild overnight campsite in a discreet quarry just off the track, accessible with care in my L300. Breathtaking views in most directions. Thinking about next year's Northern/Lake District Meet. Enjoy Exmouth. Sorry, wrong place for this. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Thats great, I'll add you to the list. I called the site this morning and as long as the firepit has a guard on it to stop sparks getting out they are happy for us to use them. We just need to raise them off the ground and they have blocks we can use to do that. I'll bring along some beer and whiskey and also some glasses :D |

Looks like a good idea I've not checked yet but might be able to make a day trip if I'm allowed :D |
permission is still granted 8-)
Would be good to meet the nice man who seduced my Avatar picture to fit in the right place.
AND put in place two extra items in the listings, as suggested by me.

Its just cloud down in Yeovil at the moment. Rain Radar looks okay for the most part. Maybe a bit of rain this evening at the campsite but nothing major. |

Thanks to Andy for organizing this meet.
Nice to see faces to names, nice folks to meet Andy, Laura, Paul, Sharon & self.
Andy is amazingly well organised, likes cooking.
To me, it appeared that all their time was spent cooking, mostly over a wood powered fire, some gas powered, and eating
Not a fat person in sight
Me = Economical - Don't eat much.
Saturday, I went for a drive to Woodbury Common, looking for a particular part, did not find it
then onto Lympstone, where I drove my Deli on to the beach of the River Exe.
The water was a brilliant shade of Blue :D
http://cubeupload.com/I'm/Deker/DelionExeLympstone.jpg
If you want to look up the spot, a sharp bend in Sowden Lane, Lympstone, Devon.
The white objects shown in Google Satellite view are not there now.
Took a piccy, but need to find a way to get pics. on here. Help needed please.
On the way back to Branscombe, I bought Fish N chips from a shop (Bloaters) in Sidford, A 3052.
They cook to order, I can highly recommend, 'cos I'm fussy when it comes to buying Fish N Chips.
Personally, I did not have a good time (nothing wrong with the folks) Windy low flying cloud, chilly & damp, made me cough a lot.
(Andy seemed to be impervious to the cold)
Yet very warm/hot in bed - Delica's are wonderful with interior insulation, even with a side window open
Mr D
