Jejeonje, I reckon the first thing is to propose a few dates and possible venues, and ask preferences. You can't please everyone, and some will simply not be able to make it. Don't expect huge numbers, they dwindle for many good reasons. Choose somewhere both attractive and reachable. And keep updating the dedicated thread regularly, so it doesn't go dormant. I am up for it, and I'll bet the Scots contingent would be pleased.
BB, that is just sod's law. I am thinking to go to JAE at Newark this year, even though there were only 3 Delis, the jap 4x4 camp, including POCUKs Mark Dale, were a friendly bunch, and there is a 4x4 playground, loads of customising and events, , and if you like aircraft, Newark Air Museum is next door with some interesting exhibits. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Paulus, quite happy to do gates for a real off road experience, I bought the Delica as a means of reaching the secret, wild places other campers can't reach, and it is so irreplaceable, I don't want to damage it and can't justify the time and money to make it a 'proper' off roader. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Here's hoping it motivates you to persevere and get that Deli grin back in time for the next meet. You were missed by those of us who know you. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

'pologies for only participating properly in the pub-based parts of the perambulations. I'd have liked to join in the off-road sections too, but had to sit still at my desk on Saturday evening and Sunday.
Many thanks to Andy for organising, and to Lewis who managed to replace my blackened ATF with some fresh stuff even despite my slight assistance. It was good to get a visit from the L300 UshaGappers on the Saturday morning too, and I hope you'll consider my place as a possible base for more adventures. Shame you couldn't make it on the Friday Jejeonje, but the dedication/stubbornness that prompted your long drive from Dunblane is commendable - have you mused on Alston as a potential future meet? |

Nice vids, looks a lot flatter and easier than it actually was.
I know it wasn't extreme, but was bouncy enough. _________________ Ian.

Glad you liked the tracks. There are a few more like that dotted around the lakes that could be joined up to make a full days outing. _________________ Paulus |
