Thank you Les  Smile

Not only me Doc, same goes for the NHS.

It goes like this = Visit Doc. - visit one hospital, back to Doc. then another hospital,
in which the specialist, said "You have to go to another hospital today, stay overnight.  Stay OVERNIGHT  Exclamation  Exclamation  Exclamation
I can't stay overnight  Exclamation  turned into 2 nights, nearly 3 days  Crying or Very sad

All this in less than 3 weeks, can't complain about that.

Drove me crazy on the third day, view from dirty window across London, all the latest buildings, to me = awful.
Had the view been like my back garden, or from Andy's residence = GREEN grass and hedges and trees, I might have been more calm.

Worse, the windows DON'T open, could not even open window to let the Fresh Polluted Air of London blow onto my face.

I was begging staff to let me go, told I should be leaving about midday.
Later, Friday afternoon I was banging my head on the window in frustration. At least it got some attention.
Fella in white jacket (yeah, I can see the remarks coming  Wink ) asked what's wrong, I said "Why am I being kept here like a prisoner"

Very shortly after that they gave the necessary equipment and medication and let me go.

Nobody wants operation/s, but to have surgery and stay in a "Sick" building - - - -
No garden, no outside garden shelter. Step out and see the traffic of Pond Street and adjoining streets  Twisted Evil

I really don't want to go back to THAT hospital, but they have the required laser equipment and specialists + after care.

Phoned the hospital today.
Good job I kept wearing the wrist band they apply, with my name and D.O.B. (in case I forget my name and DOB  Laughing )
Main thing it has an admittance number on it, that helped the staff person to rapidly find my record.

Appears that I will NOT be having op. too early. They have noted my vacation date.

Should be okay (kind of) to be at Disserth. Emphasis on SHOULD. But I cannot let good Whisky/Wisky get left unused in bottles  Wink

Disadvantage = I cannot walk too far, or stand for too long.
Hasn't stopped me using lathe & milling machine  Smile  Tho I was Sitting at the machines.

Ian. the 4 places you booked, is that for 3 or 4 known members going, or allowing for an extra member  Question
Hope you folks will excuse me, if I seem a bit confuddled about who's going  :?

I know, Andy, Ian & Rob - who else  Question

Just rang them  and the guy said he would put 4 pitches all together for us, if anyone else has already booked a pitch there will be 4 more.
If not the first other 3 that turn up get them.
I should be there around mid afternoon.
I am sure it will work out okay

The weekend before the site will be over run with female bikers, apparently that's why we had to move dates.

Looking forward to seeing some members there.

I know what you mean!  Shocked

You should have seen the 300 or so riding these bikes, that turned up in the town I was staying at, in Germany, last week.

Most looked as though they were pushing 80+; and I don't mean the bikes.  Laughing

Talk about 'Golden Wings' or what.

Laughing

If so then it must be an EU thing, as number plates on them came from Switzerland, The Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium and even the UK.

Just emptied one of my sheds(it's amazing what you collect and stow away for future use when you are only home once every 6 months) and found the necessities for a camping weekend in an L300 Delica.
Just got to load it into Mitsi and add food and whisky and I'm all set for the coming weekend.

I started loading mine today, too. Having taken out the back seat to clear a load of junk to the tip, I thought I would get as much in as I could think of, while it's in my mind. So that gives me more time to find the things I am likely to forget. I am now trying to work out which things that will be this time! Or I might write a list!
