You've met me before
Surprisingly, I've found that Co=op brand is good - for the money, same goes for Whyte & Mackay -
far better than Teachers and Bells.
Some Single Malts are too peaty for my taste.
However, the Welsh Whiskey that Rob let me have a taste of is nice, so long ago that I have forgotten - - - Need a refresher course
Andy, I'm not a lager person, thank you - Dropped a clanger some years back, well pi--ed on lager, typed some blurb on here,
got it way wrong, hit submit before finishing.
Those days I didn't know how to edit, or how to contact a mod. surprisingly I was not banned - Greg knows what I'm on about.

In 10 years or so's time I wil have time to go to one myself, but still looking forward to one.
It will be in old rusty D5's by then I'm sure _________________ A Little Knowledge is Dangerous and expensive! especially if your me Mending anything!! |

A) Fortunately the post was deleted.
B) See what I can do, no doubt Ian will beat me to it
C) Why wait, make time, many things I wanted to do in the past, too busy or skint, so I thought,
looking back I realise that I could have done some of those things, now I'm a lot older and lack the energy I do have some regrets.
Wiltshire Plain is not that far from you, when the "Gang" have a meet there, go and join them,
non damage drives across the Plain can be arranged.

I know what you mean about past regrets Deker - Time disappears before you know it.
Life is hectic here and time off is hard to get!
Any Deli time is sneaked in.
Would have to be a non damage meet for me now. I bought the Deli as a second vehicle and for a bit of off roading but shes now my daily drive and also my time out lounge.
I will make a meet one day.
I am planning doing the Hurst View Dub fest in a few weeks time - mostly as its down the road and have friends with kids to keep my crazy boy amused !!
I will get to a meet one day _________________ A Little Knowledge is Dangerous and expensive! especially if your me Mending anything!!

Perhaps we should have an "I am going to..." thread, where we can post upcoming events of any kind that we are going to. Then like-minded Deli owners can arrange to meet up. How often do we pass, "like ships in the night."? _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

That's a good thought Andy.
A lot less pressure for those who can't commit ( that's me I think).
Work and family are major full time down this way. _________________ A Little Knowledge is Dangerous and expensive! especially if your me Mending anything!! |

So, Deker, are we booked in? Is it just 4 definites? Any more for any more? At least 2 of us will be there Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. (Me and Ian, or should that be Ian and I?) Now leaving 3pm Friday, Ian do you want to rendez-vous somewhere, perhaps Chester Services, J14 M56? Dunno if it fits with your schedule. ETA at services around 5.30, dependent on traffic. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

I'll be a bit earlier than that as I am now a man of leisure and hope to leave home on the Friday morning.
Getting to campsite sort of mid afternoon. _________________ Ian.

Oh dear -
On Wednesday I had a hospital visit, the specialist I saw, done an Ultrasound scan.
Sez "You need go to another hospital today, and will have to stay overnight"
Yeah right - turned into 2 nights Room to myself, that bit suited me, with a view across London = yuk.
Need an operation shortly, at the mo I'm out of action
Sorry folks, really was looking forward to seeing you at Disserth.
Can you make your own bookings Look up Disserth Caravan and Camping for the phone No.
EDIT = Had a wee problem with PC, could not look up the number whilst on this site. Now sorted.
The number is 01597 860277

It's still 3 weeks away, Deker, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Make sure you're proper looked after, and kept comfortable, and if you don't get called in soon, pester the hospital, or pester your GP to pester the hospital. Well I was keeping track of this to see when the final date was going to be, but saw the final date and realised I was on holiday travelling down to Essex first and then onto Devon for one week and then Cornwall for a week. So then I thought rait lets have a look and see if I can tie it all in together maybe ? Anyhows all that went up the creek last week when I had an ankle op, and I am now also in a pot. Wonder if I can drive in a load bearing pot ? Current one none load bearing.

If it's your left ankle and you are in an auto, you might be able to manage it, although I don't know what your insurers would make of it, Clive. With Deker also having to see too much of medics, I'm starting to wonder if this meet is jinxed, - anyway, I'm keeping everything crossed that you will both be fit enough to make the meet, and in the meanwhile, I am eating an apple a day and not going near ladders! _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Yeah it is my left, I have actually driven the 300 and it's certainly doable. Well got my first pot off next Tuesday so will have an idea then. Fingers crossed. |

Andy. I wish it were that simple.
The "op" I need is NOT a day in, and out the next day
I cannot ride me bike. The temporary "fix" is not conducive to/for travelling.
I would appreciate that no more be said on the subject
It's bad enough that I cannot make it to a meet that I have organised
All I will say at the mo, I have slightly damaged kidneys, + other parts, will take some time to repair.
You say "He who stays quiet gets ignored!" When I presented self to Doctor, procedures moved quite rapidly.
