Very Very sad news.

He was a very respected bloke on here. I wasn't lucky enough to meet him personally but he was very helpful to myself when I 1st got my Deli with free advice and the odd part from his shed of spares,

From just a couple of messages, I knew he was old school and someone you could trust.

Thoughts with yourself and your family Rick.

You will live on in many Mitsubishis for a long long time to come.

You will be well miseed...

Oh ... such sad, sad news.

I never met him, but I know he was of tremendous help to many people on this forum.

I can't recall ever seeing a bad word written about him, he was a man held in great esteem who I am sure will be sorely missed.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends at this sad time.

RIP Rick.

RIP Rick.  Sad

My thoughts are with Julie and family on the loss of a true legend.

Rick was genuinely one of the nicest guy's you could ever meet. He did a fair bit of work on the Yorkshire Warrior after I was no longer able to and we always had a good laugh with the neighbours stopping to watch him work on it.

I don't think I could even count the amount of people he has helped on here, never mind those on the Pajero owners club and other Yellow Diamond club members.

A sad loss indeed.  Crying or Very sad

Never met Rick, but expected to need him. One part of his legacy must be all the beloved vehicles still putting a smile on their owners' faces. Felt I knew him from the amount he taught me on here, and everyone's praise for the man and his work. Is there a collection for a tribute?

I met Rick a few times over the last few years, such a genuine bloke. An immeasurable loss to the Deli/paj community.
My deepest sympathies to his family, i lost my father to the same illness, very hard to come to terms with.
V8rick - never to be forgotten

Top man, pulled me out the *beep* on more than one occassion, free with his knowlage and always happy to help.

Besides his mechanical knowlage he was dry humoured with his wit - almost black/gallows type humour, but funny all the same.

He came to my house to do a job but forgot his specs, so we went to the local B&M were he tried on several pairs from the £2.00 rack until settling for a ladies pair. I said " They are ladies, " he said " They are the best ! "

The thoughts of the Yoza family are with his at this testing time, R.I.P Richard.
