|
|
I am looking to get hold of a towbar for general use. I've narrowed it down to the Anker 7603 or the Towtrust TC705 (my preferred option).
I can pick up the Towtrust relatively locally. Question is, does anyone know whether it would be worth getting the ALKO towball?
Not planning to pull a caravan, but maybe a boat trailer, and larger box trailers.
I understand you shouldn't pull an ALKO hitch with a standard ball, but can you pull a non-ALKO hitch with an ALKO ball.
And how common are ALKO hitches anyway?
Thanks. _________________ "Refitting is the reversal of removal"

If Alko's balls and hitches are so fussy, I'd stick to standard stuff. The only problem I've encountered is pulling a metric 50mm hitch with an imperial 2inch ball - the ball is too big to fit. You CAN pull a 2inch hitch with a metric ball though. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Also just has a bigger neck so will work with either hitch |
