|
|
My Deli needs some rust protection
Looking at doing the underside, arches and around the lower engine bay with some waxoyl.
I have seen some pressure tins in halfords with a spray pump, but don't know how many litres I need. |

I've just had mine done at a local garage. Charged me £80. Is it worth getting covered in **** to save a few quid off that price?
Ask around.
Cheers

The tedious bit is getting it all clean and dry before applying the Waxoyl. Otherwise you seal in the corrosion until the waxoyl dries out and falls off. Not convinced it's any better than engine oil on an old vehicle. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

I've been spraying ferton rust killer under mine untill summer when its nice and dry to put the waxoil on also spraying it in any non used bolt holes on the chassis so it gets washed around inside the chassis aswell. All helps to prevent or stop the rot. |
