Hi All,
is there anywhere other than the battery itself I can source a 10A 12V supply for my Ham radio?
Anywhere I can grab this from the dash or nearby?
I have the multi-speaker amplifier under my driver seat - would this have a suitable feed?

If not - where's my best place to go through the firewall to the battery?

Regards

Mike

Hi - I'm not to up on electrics but there is a hole approx. 8mm dia in the firewall on the drivers side which may have a grommet in. I've used it to wire my digi temp guage through.
I've got a few more things to wire in so 1 of my next jobs will be installing a 2nd fusebox like the 1 in this link below

Ill probs put a relay in also - something like this

Not too sure on the 75 amp bit but will look into this some more.

Hope this is of help

I drilled a hole where the clutch master cylinder would go on the manual version to run the coax and power leads. I also had an 120 ah battery in a box between the front seats to run the radio when parked up.
