Yes, its the master cylinder leaking. I took the dash board off to get at the back of the washer jets and wipers and to check for other leaks when i discovered it.
I'm struggling to find a replacemet at the moment. I've been offered one for 65 quid but the guys not sure if its the correct one

Did you manage to get the leaking master cylinder sorted yet. I'm sorting out my L300 at the minute to get her back on the road I have the exact same problem so I'm thinking I might as well sort that out also..... |

Yeah. Well, kind of? I've got a new replacement to install but the 2 white unions on the top that connect to the reseviour are facing in the wrong direction and i'm not sure what to do about it. I've spoken to the supplier and they have said they can be turned around to the correct orientation but i've tried this by hand and they don't budge. So what to do?
1. turn with some pliers and hope the plastic doesn't break?
2. return to supplier to get a replacement?
3. Get longer pipes?
4. anyone else had this issue who knows what to do?
I'll post a pick of the problem when photo bucket is not down for maintenance. |
