Does anyone know where i can get a new master cylinder or repair kit.
I've already done a search and come across big red but they don't have the right bore size kit. They have 22.2mm size and i have stamped on the side 15/16 which i think is 23.8mm
Milners don't do it either. Is there a compatible vehicle?

This is what i;ve found so far.

Possibly the same master cylinder as the UK spec/sold 2WD L300 van, so might be worth getting a parts place to look that up instead.

Yes, its the master cylinder leaking. I took the dash board off to get at the back of the washer jets and wipers and to check for other leaks when i discovered it.
I'm struggling to find a replacemet at the moment. I've been offered one for 65 quid but the guys not sure if its the correct one

Did you manage to get the leaking master cylinder sorted yet. I'm sorting out my L300 at the minute to get her back on the road I have the exact same problem so I'm thinking I might as well sort that out also.....

Yeah. Well, kind of? I've got a new replacement to install but the 2 white unions on the top that connect to the reseviour are facing in the wrong direction and i'm not sure what to do about it. I've spoken to the supplier and they have said they can be turned around to the correct orientation but i've tried this by hand and they don't budge. So what to do?

1. turn with some pliers and hope the plastic doesn't break?
2. return to supplier to get a replacement?
3. Get longer pipes?
4. anyone else had this issue who knows what to do?

I'll post a pick of the problem when photo bucket is not down for maintenance.

Sounds like you have one set up for left hand drive mounting?

Maybe try to turn them on the old one so it doesn't matter if they break?

Thanks for the help finding the parts.

I've posted full details here,
http://www.MDOCUK.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?p=365068#365068

but same as you I got one for a left hand drive from Germany. Mine was made by Brembo, cost a little more, but under a hundred instead of over 500 from Mitsu! The Nissin one that you seem to have wasn't available in stock anywhere I could find.

Fitted and working - MOT again on Tuesday...getting there!
