Many thanks to Marc3, traveled all the way to Gosport today to fit my Deli' with a new fuel pump seal.

Arrived as arranged and after a brief chat and a strong, sweet cup of coffee, got straight on with the job. Finished within and hour and a half (would of taken us a couple of days)  Laughing
Was nice to have a natter about the good days of JAE and various Jap machinery we owned  8-) Sorry, I know I can go on   Laughing  Been out for a short spin in the truck just to get fuel but she already feels miles better, sounds smoother if that's possible. No more stalling halfway up the ramp in the mornings now  cheers

Highly recommended and top chap!

Just wanted to add my piece to this in praise of Mark. He came and did my pump seal this weekend after re-arranging another job to fit me in. He allowed me to watch while he worked, answering my (many) questions along the way and also fitted my new expansion tank. She now starts much more easily and emits less smoke to boot.

Overall, great service and nice bloke who I would happily recommend.  :D

Just wanted all those in need of a fuel pump seal replacement do not hesitate and call Mark www.mobilemechanics.org.uk

He arrived this morning in minus degree heat (cold) and within an hour and a half had replaced my fuel pump seal and tutored me through the whole process.
A great guy, great service, amazing value and he has returned my much loved Delica to it's former glory.
I have a very big grin and my bank balance is very happy also.
Also highly recommend and many thanks Mark.

You don't by some sheer luck happen to be passing near York in the next week or so do you Mark?

I need to get my Pump seal done and the only guy I've found so far locally that's done them before (very infrequently too) is well expensive.

I'd rather someone who knows there way round a Deli do it  :D

Had a visit from Mark today, on his way back from his holidays and en route to do pump seals for two others tday too.  Even with a bit of chatting, he was done and dusted in less than 2 hours and the difference to the truck is really noticable.  No longer does it kickdown dramatically on even quite gentle hills and even the hunting for gears seems to have stopped too.

Really pleased - Thanks Mark  Smile

Hope you made it back okay.

Marvellous mechanical mobile mechanic Mark!!! Soldiered on thru the freeeezing weather yesterday and changed TWO fuel pump seals on a day trip to sunny (on occasion) Thame in Oxfordshire!  Good chap, knowledgeable and proficient! Would definately recommend his services. Great to watch someone at work who knows exactly what they are doing... AND no spare parts left over when everything was put back together!
Thanks Mark!!! :D
