I had a milners one last week and it was a pain in the backside, they don't fit as they have a grease nipple and where they fit isn't meant to accept a grease nipple, I messed about for hours before I realised it wasn't me it was the junk I had bought that was stopping me fitting it, I also ordered new bleed nipples for the brakes that came twice as big as the size I needed, |

I stuck a grub screw in the hole when i have had ball joints with nipples or some people drill a hole in the cup.

I'm just in the process of changing my Milners ball joints so I thought I'd wade in here.
All four are shot and all four were fitted about a year (2000 miles) ago. Granted I do go green laning but in the last year I haven't done very much of that:
This is the top ball joint from the drivers side but they all look like this:
I also did a very short video of the play on the passenger side before removing it, I think this is dangerous: (click the animated gif to see the video)
I have a few boots fitted that came from Milners and they are similarly deteriorated, I suspect the ball joints would have been fine had the rubber not disintegrated.
My advice: if it's got a rubber component then don't buy it from milners. _________________

Dangerous? Just a bit! Imagine doing 70 mph.... I don't buy anything from Milner anymore, rubber or not. Their pattern parts are just cheap junk. |

I'm replacing the whole lot with Mitsubishi parts, the track rod ends came from Milners too and they're also knackered _________________
