finally fitted a cb but have a problem  Shocked
either i have done it wrong ( not sure i did though as it seems easy)
or
no one uses a cb in this area at all  Laughing  Laughing  went through all channels all day and got nothing, well i say nothing, i think i heard someone faintly talking in french for a few minutes...........
Question: how do i know this is actually working ?? if no one talks or i Can't hear anyone
maybe its me  Embarassed

they are only short range and not anyone talking on them these days ...  i thought the same until unclebazwold came over and  called me on his cb and its was working fine...do you know anyone with a cb to test it out?

The only time I here any other people on mine is if I'm on the motorway or about 5:30 in the morning when the truckers leave the local Derbyshire quarries and discuss where they are going for breakfast...

You could go down a country lane in the evening you might pick up some Dogging chat  Laughing (just to check if your cb is working) I hear they use them to set up meets..
