Hi there, can any of you guys recognise this power plug? Its off of my in car DVD player which is old enough that Goodmans don't even list it as a product they did, its just a cheap thing but it works... Or did till I lost the power adaptor when we moved. It Can't be bespoke, it must be an industry standard as by luck I just noticed the power plug on our Sonic Wall in the office is the same and its split brand new... Any help appreciated... Cheers...

Hi
I have had more than a nodding acquaintance with Sonicwalls over the last 10 years, but I can't say I ever saw one with that fitting. It looks like a Molex Sabre plug. If your looking for a PSU to match you would probably be better of cutting it off and fitting something more common and "cheaper"
Regards

Can't... Thats the thing that goes into the DVD player so its that that I need... It would be oh so simple to cut the one off of the Sonic Wall in the work and use that but then everything would go down and ahd be in trouble... But... Thanks for the lead on the possible name for the plug, I'll go search on that... Cheers... |

The only place I've seen connectors with snap fittings like that commonly on some fibre optic fly leads and some PCB connectors. Can't remember ever seeing as power lead like that
