Did anyone ever have dealings with malarose2407 on ebay?

They are Delica specialists based in LEIGH, Lancashire, selling very well finished and refurbed trucks.  I wonder if anyone had bought one and if they thought it was worth paying the extra for a good 'un?

His real name is Dean Rosenthal ( i think thats how its spelt  Embarassed ) BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!.

I just emailed him on EBay asking if he had any LWB Delicas coming up for sale and made the mistake of mentioning I'd had a RAC inspection on a Delica I'd viewed. His response was incredibly defensive saying that if I was getting the RAC to inspect vehicles then I should go and find another dealer. I then replied to him that the inspection had highlighted a serious safety fault that would have major consequences in a front impact. After that point he just got plain rude and unpleasant in his replies.

Seems to me this ((((   Dean Rosenthal  ))) is missing some good business""if all his vehicles are naff,, then why not strip them and selll the parts "  I'm sure he would make more money ,, have less time in court ,, and could sleep with both eyes closed  "!!!

Glad I've just read this - I've been watching a couple of his motors on eBay.

Time to look elsewhere!

BEWARE, of this man. I have been watching his trading for about a year, in the hope that something would be done about him. He has advertised very many Delicas through eBay and apparently sold a lot of "excellent quality vehicles" I spoke to him about 8 months ago regarding the purchase of a Deli, but once i starting asking questions about his trading history, he stopped replying to my emails and phone calls.

How can a dealer that has so many Delicas for sale on eBay, not have a single feedback for a vehicle he has sold????
His positive feedback is only relevant to parts that he has sold. NOT ONE VEHICLE. He advertises on eBay then trades outside of it....... So that we can both save money. If you trade outside of eBay you have no comeback. The reason he has no negative for vehicles sold through eBay is because he hasn't sold any through them.

I traced a Delica that he had for sale, back to it's previous owner. I contacted the previous owner who told me that he had sold it as a non running parts vehicle for a few hundred quid. This vehicle was on eBay as "excellent low millage vehicle" I don't think it's possible that every vehicle he has for sale is dodgy, but i know of at least one that was!! I wish there was something we could do to stop people like this from trading.

SO BUYER BEWARE.

FYI Guys
I have set some wheels in motion this morning!!. I do not think people like this should be allowed to trade.
May i request that if you have bought anything from this guy that you are not completely happy with, Leave Negative Feedback.
People who trade outside of the regulations of eBay will be shut down if they are aware of it. I can only assume that they are now aware.
Hopefully we will not see vehicles advertised by "maiarose2407" in the very near future.

Selling vehicles on ebay isn't the same as selling parts, vehicles can be sold as a classified ad, so no paypal, so thats your paypal protection gone, plus as classified ads are also normally cash on collection thats your ebay protection gone as its deemed as checked and accepted on collection, thats why ebay and paypal aren't too interested, they don't get any fvf's only the listing fee, whereas a auction does change things as theres fvf's and you can use paypal, so as a classified the deal is done outside of ebay. This is not saying you shouldn't still view and check a vehicle or that this seller has no problems, just pointing out why ebay won't be too bothered they get their listing fee either way.
