okay here goes.
Missus had an appointment at the Paphos General Hozzy this morning!
So seeing as we were early setting off, I went the scenic, long way, over the Akamas.
This time I stuck the little Alba HD video camera on the outside of the windscreen.
Surprisingly it stayed on the Jimny and recorded from here, NeoChorio to the start of Coral Bay, where I turned it off. You wouldn't want to see scantily clad women walking backwards & forwards to the beach and bars/coffee shops/kiosks etc.
When we got back, I put the SD card into this 'ere net book and found that the vid was in Quick Time format.
Tried to use it with Microsoft Video Maker so I could get rid of the unwanted bits, get rid of the wind noise and replace it with some music/electronic noise etc and I couldn't do anything with it.
Tried using Real Converter to convert it to WMA and the prog just locked up. HELP? What should I do, what have I done wrong?
Ta muchly.. |

Next time keep it turned on...
Quick time could be in either MOV or MP4 format. Depending on which windows version you are using the may not work. :?

Thanks, Lewis.
Might leave it till I get home as the interwebmailwideworld broad band here in the village, only runs at 1mb if I stand in the correct spot in the street! Everything takes forever to down/up load.
When I play it back through the net book, it is in HD but very jerky, stops and starts and is then out of sync.
If I copy it to a flash drive and plug this into the back of the telly, it plays great and in HD.
Same again, play it back through the camera, spot on, no problems.
Must be the scantily clad memory and processor size/speed?? |

Update:
Got back this morning and had a go at downloading the prog.
It did it straight away and is sitting on my desktop for me to have a go with it when I get home from work.
Cheers Matey.
