As the meet folks will know, one or too kindly brought cakes for Milo's birthday.....and one of them was a double layer choc cake with choc bits on top and two layers of filling and is the sort of 'to die for' cake....SmileSmile

This cake was kindly donated by Fi and Barry...SmileSmile

Well I feel it is high time I confessed....SmileSmile

Monday morning the cake was in it's box on my camp table.  I looked at it, then looked over at Fi and Barry's tent, then back to the cake, then back to the tent.....and I put the cake in Milo brought it home and I've nearly eaten it all....SmileSmileSmile

Very naughty I know but I couldn't resist....Smile

Thanks Fi....it's lovely...SmileSmile

I gave her the vanilla one back....but I felt that it would to too stressful to carry both cakes across to their tent and so I unfortunalty had to make a choice on what cake stayed with me and which cake I took back....and I tell you it was a hard choice....I mean, I'd much rather she'd have had it back than me having to eat it all....but someone had to eat it and it might as well have been me eh...SmileSmile

Baz...the choc cake was on the table all evening....you could have had some....Smile I hadn't hidden it...honest....Smile

It was on the table..

But Ange never opened it while i was there and i left late that evening..

Bazza, i think we were lucky during the day, i've heard that there was at least 5 Pajero's that were on the Plain on Sat that went thru the same mud we did had overheated on their return journey home after their meet, and one with a duff gearbox..

We made so sure the windows were shut......and through the wet and mud we went, it went up and over the roof and we got a shower of it through the open roof...SmileSmile

But I was so tired after a bad Saturday/Sunday nights sleep or lack of it  Sad
I just had to go home - Been really tired since  Sad
My eldest daughter sez "I'ts an age thing" - - - - Cheeky - *?*  Mad

And NO, driving over the Plain did not tyre me, it was interesting, tho not exciting, didn't need to use 4WD.
Was hoping for a bit of hill climbing.

Deker

Well, sorry, but you did opt for the easy day..
We wanted more mud, but i'm happy with the way it turned out, minimal damage..
Theres only really one hill that i've found that's a challenge, but without a sump gaurd i wouldn't take you to it.. But you could have driven through the mud up the little slope that stopped me in 2WD..
Visit again when it's muddy, then 4WD is a must, just to get down the easy track's..

Ange, I don't remember talking about proper parties  :?  But I am "at a low" at the mo.
Working from the time I get up, to the time I get home.

Only relaxation time is evening meal (sometimes (somedays all I'll have is a can of Heinz best with 3 slices of bread)) and browsing this forum.
Yeah - I know I'm not eating much - - - cooking is not for me.
My thing is metal working during the day, smoke a lot, coffee - at least 1.5 litres per day, and alcholic licquor when I finish work.

Buz, I got an MOT booked next week. If I have to do any work, don't want to get mucky  Sad
Sides that, my Delica is VERY clean underside, I wanna keep it that way  Smile
Must get some pics and post em up here.
