Hello I have a 96 400 and the free wheel clutch switch works when you remove it and manually press in the rod. The car was stuck in 4x4 when purchased and disconecting the switch takes it out of 4x4. To use 4x4 necessitates conecting switch back up. My question is can the rod be easily removed presumably just to clean crud out of the indent in which the switch rod pushes in and out of?
Cheers
