Is the Coolant bleed screw houseing for the L400 the first place for the systen to drain?

I hope it is as I am hoping to place a low level sensor there. Drill a hole in screw and its job almost done I reckon....

its forced round by the water pump there, best place would be an inline adapter on the bottom of the expansion tank.

btw what are you using? the solid state ones usually cost a bomb!

Solid state Transistor is what I am hoping to use, not sure if they are solid or not its been years since I dabbled in Electronics but I think they are.
Reckon I can make one with 3 components for under a fiver. Will post a qick diagram in a bit.
No neeed for a in line adapter I hope, just a piece of wire I hope.

I hope that a piece of wire inserted into the tank from the bottom hose like this.

Zooming in will help you to see the wire path I hope.

The tanks are made from glass-reinforced Zytel nylon, very very strong but very very brittle as its glass mixed Crying or Very sad
