Try this
http://www.blackmountainholidays.co.uk/location.htm
Last year £10 a night for car and tent. EHU is available, but extra.
If you don't want a hectic break I can recommend this site, just look at the pics David displays.
Just North of the Brecon Beacons/Black Mountain. Llandovery is 7 miles to the North.
Nice an quiet, too quiet for most children, never overcrowded.
My first visit to this site was in August 2003 on my Honda NTV 650, been going back since, except 2006 when Shirley got ill.
There used to be a pub "The Cross Inn", bang on the corner of the site, unfortunately the landlord (an ex Manchester cab driver) gave up flogging alcoholic beverages.
That was a real shame, as Id made a few local friends in that pub
Last year he had opened the pub as an eating place, I didn't know this last year when I was there.
But it seems he is only open during "working hours"
David has two fields for camping, the other field is not shown on his website.
Last year I phoned him and asked "Do you accept car club meets" he said "No, Iv had bad experience with Rally's"
I said " We don't have a car club rally, just meets" He replied something about "Tyres skidding and churning up the grass, and the noise created by rally clubs"
Dunno about you folks, but Id like to show David that car clubs can be civilised.
Well now, Dylan at Rhiw appreciates us being at his site
There are many excellent places to visit from this C&C site, Dan yr Ogof caves, the Cathedral Cave is amazingly huge.
Llynn Brianne Reservoir, from the viewpoint about halfway along, is so serene on a balmy summers day.
The Tregaron to Abergwesyn Mountain Road, off which there are many Forestry Commission roads.
The Elan Valley, from Rhayadar, the Mountain Road all the way to Aberystwyth, fantastic scenery
