I find them good for road.Very little road noise but not formula one standard. The shoulders on the front wear fairly rapidly if you drive them hard around bend's but do grip fairly well as they are made of soft compound. Not so good for driving over sharp rock's, but that wasn't asked.I rate them for road use. Laughing

They certainly handle better on the road than my old Marshall AT's (that had plenty of tread)

I've only driven on them for a mile, I'm watching the clock just waiting for 6 when I finish work and can drive home, they are a lot quieter than I imagined, the only mud tyres I've driven on before these were insa turbos or a very similar tyre on a defender and they made my hands numb through the steering wheel the vibration was that bad I had to wear gloves all the time. I read loads of good things about the KL71's on here and other reviews and I love the look of them, so I thought I'd give them a try... Glad I did now!!!

There is always a bi of cunfusion on this. The consensus is that 30x9.50 R15 is the biggest you can get on a standard rim and also the biggest you can do without them rubbing (for which you need a suspension lift to stop them).

That said i have 31x10.5 R15 on mine (standard rims, unlifted) and they don't rub. But i did remove the mud flaps and cut at the inner wheelarch slightly to be sure (as a precaution)

Standard rims are 6". You might want to check with your insurance company that they are happy with you running oversized tyres on your rims.  Wink

Looking at that chart maybe the 9.50 would be okay for the 6" rims.

Just found them tyres at £69 each is that a good price.?
Would like to get some new winter boots on mine.

Using this site: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp the 9.50s require a 6.5"+ rim... Alternatively you could use the more  easily found 235/75x15. These fit on a 6" rim. Either that or go for Pajero 7" rims which many of us have... Wink

But if Mk2 Paj rim's used then the bottom bolt of the front mud flap need's to be taken out or the tyre hit's if you don't have a lift fitted. Laughing  I think Mk 1 rim's are 6" Question  but don't quote me on that.. :?

I bought some Mk 1's i was told and they are the same as i've seen on the L300's of Duxy and Swizzer, not sure if the early Pajero's used the same rim's or i was told a lie Question :D
