thought I'd share. Batteries (twin set up) finally died on me and didn't want to wait for deliveries and such like. I had no parts numbers as such so off to LT motor factors in Stockton with one of the old ones (installed in New Zealand some time ago).

They supplied a pair of VBY8 (motoquips i think) for £130. So far so good. 130aH between them so hoping they should last a while. From dead motor to starting her up including going and buying them less than 90 mins.


Starts like a rocket now... makes you realise how bad the old ones were getting.
