okay I know the wheels subject has been done to death on the Forum but I have a query I want to run past you guys n gals.

Six years ago I bought some alloys from 4x4at.com and they are 16x7 in size. They came as a wheel and tyre package fitted with General Grabber 235/70/16 tyres. Still going strong but the wheels are flaking and looking tired.

I can't find any 16x7 replacement alloys apart from steelies. Most are 16x8 and even 17x8 ! My question is has anyone fitted 16x8 alloys without needing wheel arches being fitted or modified? My other question is will 17x8 wheels fit okay?

Hope someone who has either of these wheel sizes fitted can help.
