Hi, we are going camping over Christmas to Pembrokshire. Any good places for wild camping/ nice view, quiet, middle of nowhere.../.
We will be exploring coast between TENBY and CARDIGAN. Any tips welcome.
Thanks

we stayed here this summer:

Nice site with a nice veiw.
Lower field will be quieter this time of year as most vehicles won't be able to make it up and down the slope.
Some cars were struggling when it rained in the summer.

We stoped at st davids in oct. (in holiday cottage though, i know boring). Found great place, big free car park just get a few walkers and surfers.      http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=51.936434,-5.205503&spn=0.00553,0.019205&t=h&z=16
Good look finding it, but worth the search.  Loads of places round there pretty quiet, most of torists are round tenby way.

Pembrokeshire got hit bad last night, around 6" in parts, Amroth, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Kilketty hit bad, main roads open, and passable with care.

Cheers.

Thanks.
Do you think small car parks/ usually owned by National Trust/ will be okay for overnight stay or they are snowed down/10'' is not a problem for Deli/ :D

National Parks not keen on people parking overnight, but the car Parks are okay around Carmarthen, I am 30 Miles from Pembroke, My Mate lives in Amroth and it is the worst snow they have seen in 30 years. Deli shuld be okay.

Cyrum Sam on anothe Dlei site may be of more help as he lives Pembroke way.  I am down Amroth Saundersfoot Sunday and can let you know what it is like then if any Help, cheers.
