Hi All, First post,
Giving a symptom of the EGR going nuts, A massive flat spot at 2,500rpm, along with hideous diesel knock and grey and black smoke, Will get a video and post it up.
Also a sound of the turbo 'wheezing' is caused by the EGR.
I took my works EGR apart to clean and found a piece of metal lodged inside it, which looked like an old blanking plate!!! Maybe check yours asap? |

If the metal blanking plate is too thin it will eventually disintegrate and self convert into a gasket! _________________
