I've just spotted this report on the BBC website about an e-bay trader, using multiple accounts, getting taken to court by the Tradings Standards, where he is facing a potential £50,000 fine for bidding against himself to up the prices and wondered if MC has also done the same thing, considering his iffy background:-

Err, don't know if it's the same person, but there's a Delica for sale in Torquay for £1,475 from mc Cars, the seller dropped the price to £1200 cash without me even asking.. Shame really as it look a nice motor..

170,000k, that's just over 10,000 mile, MOT til Oct, Tax til end Sept.. Oh yeah, that's not my post code, i want to protect the inoccent.. But if it is Marc and he's got a problem with this, he can contact me on the phone no. that i called him on at lunch time 2day and we can arrange a meet somewhere.. I may go have a look this weekend if i get time..

after reciving a pm from his mate a joned clameing that he had payed me but the payment hade been reterned by pay pal and that he did not ore could not reply to my pm,s saying i had not been payed as he had been baned from this site ... and he allso sent with the post a serposed recept from pay pal saying it was sent to barbaragregory@aol.com....but my email address is barbaraJgregory@aol.com soi tould his mate it was sent to the rong address if inded it was sent he then sead he whould resend it which he has so i have now been payed .... it is funny though the reason he sead pay pal reterned the payment was that it had not been clamed within 30days yet when i went to my pay pal a/c to clame it there is nowere for me to do so :? :? :? :? a.t.b dave

don't know about anyone else, but i would be finding out 1 way or another if there was a problem with a paypal payment i made, if it had'nt been claimed after a week, never mind a month, but for him not to make any kind of effort to contact you until you put these posts up on here! kind of begs the question, if he would have made any attempt to actually make a payment if you hadn't posted about it Rolling Eyes

i suppose you won't be as trusting of those you don't know in the future dave.

anyway, he now made a payment to the correct address so at least you have got your money.

Depend how busy he is.. I've made payment's before and as i'm away A lot i don't get time to check, i only knew a while ago when i hadn't recieved an item i got in touch with the seller and he'd said i hadn't paid.. So he may have made an honest mistake, all sorted now anyway..
