I have been looking around the internet for an mpv type vehichle that my lad would be able to travel in in his wheelchair, so the internal floor to roof height needs to be quite high - would you know this dimension on the Delica?

It looks a stunning vehicle and I hope it would be suitable.

Any help/advice you could give would be most appreciated,

Rob

hi and welcome to the club

if you talk to 'cracksman' on here, his wife has a wheelchair and seems to have no probs, however do you mean he will still be in the chair, in the car?
wouldn't have thought it would be a problem hieght wise.

Hi roof Deli would be excellent... Only problem I see is getting the wheelchair up into it in the first place. I guess you would need longish ramps Rolling Eyes

By the way WELCOME to the club

I have got a user manual somewhere...... However, just taken a real life measurement for another project I am working on.
122cm is the lowest internal height - I tried to be quite accurate on this one i.e. measured to internal switches / panels that protrude slightly from the main roof area.
As someone has mentioned already the height in to the tail gate is quite high at 72cm - but then you would have plenty of room to stow away the ramps.

p.s. There are a few different models that will vary slightly internally, Marc will probably have given you both (High & Low roof models - I have the High Crystal Roof). I guess the steel locking points where the rear bench seat would normally lock into the floor might be useful for securing the wheelchair too?
