|
|
Hello all
I am after a towbar but want one with a mounting strut that sits high ie just under the rear plastic bumper as i have seen a few that are so low they would plough a field offroad so if anyone knows a make that sits high to give me rear ground clearance then i would be glad to hear from you.
Thanks

The one i got was from Towequippe....cost me £117 ( collected ) with single electrics pack included.
It seems quite high up, when towing my caravan it elevates it horizontal and even if 'nose' heavy' wouldn't dip at the front cos the tow bar too high. |

Sounds cheap enough and single electrics and a handful of scotchlocks might be within my limited skills. :D

Sounds good but a beefier version tucked up out of the way so its good for recovery too.

Many more trips to Wales and you will need it to pull Milo out of the mud...

Thanks for the replies i went with Notty and Towequipe via ebay in the end and the fact the fella answered my email whilst other companys did not swung it for me.It cost me just under £108 for all including ball and single leccy and fitted easily though the instructions are confusing concerning the washers.I have posted a few piccies before and after.
Towbar kit yes its got two ball rubbers one will be made into a codpiece.
Pre towbar with the underrun bar on and thats a milk stain not a slug trail.
Fitted from a couple of angles.
I have not fitted the leccy yet as its for recovery offroad till i buy a caravan and i am out in it tomorrow getting dirty and did not want to tempt fate.
