putting amp into my Delica,? is were do you put the remote wire on your sterio as i have 4 spare wires coming out of back:
line mute(tan)
ext cont(pink/black)
p.cont(blue/white)
and one black with no label on.

also have 2x phonos.
front
rear(non fading)

sterio is a kenwood dpx-8000mj

on both the stereos i have had the amp switch wire was sky blue.

The amp control is the blue/white cable ('p.cont' meaning power control output) Wink

Not sure how you have ended up with a black spare :?
Black is normally the earth connection, best check if there is a black connected, the earth may be picking up through the chassie of the headunit only :|

Connects to phone carkit.
When my phone rings its mutes the sound from the system and displays call on the screen 8)


ext cont(pink/black)

Used for electric ariels and can also be used for amps switching (as the blue/white cable) on some headunits but not on all, so best not use this one for amps unless the manual says so Exclamation

got it wired up power to amp but no sound anybody got same radio or manual cause there loads of settings on it,crossover etec
