Got back a few minutes ago, made a cuppa and checked the disfunctional boiler....all okay here over the weekend...Smile

The sat nav took me all round the houses again to get home, until I spotted a couple of our folks who I knew were heading to Liverpool...and I know near to Liverpool there will be a motorway sign....so I followed them:)

It took me nearly into Liverpool centre on the way there, so it might be dustbin time for it...Sad

Anyway, Woodvale...not a bad turn out of folks, but next year we are doing a proper stand, so more 300s and a couple more 400s are needed for then...Smile

We had a nice cosy little camp set up behind the vans on Saturday night, and a fair bit of DIY was done over the weekend....you know the little jobs that aren't important till you get to a meet then the bonnet just has to come up...SmileSmile

It was a good show, and this year the model aircraft did the 'dambusters' again with the Spitfires and the Lancaster Bombers, and the bombs had been allowed this year...so that was an excellent show.

I didn't take any pics....but my phone was turned off most of the weekend and was left in my van....not the best way to take pics...Smile

Thanks again to the old git...Carstairs for my bacon and egg butties....SmileSmile

And finally, it was lovely to see everyone again, and look forward to Wales.....SmileSmile

Yup Ange 2002 is my earliest plaque [Woodvale anyway, got a couple from the 90's - Mustang & All Ford Show and A.A.C.N.W.] and I'll mount them on a board for next year and put 'em on the dash. Are you going to start the search for that Coffin? You've only got 12 mths you know [ to find one that is, not till you need one ]
Colin
PS Had the best time over the weekend but forgot my camera.

Going to put mine on a board for next year too....something I've been meaning to do for ages....Smile

As for the coffin....it was decided at Woodvale that I need a trailer on the back of Milo....and the trailer would have to be a coffin....SmileSmile

No not looked into that yet Colin...Smile

What a cracking weekend.....

up till late chatting over a beer (or several)

covering all the topics you can imagine !

we indeed had a casual stand this year...

but as Ange says next year we will have this better planned.....

there is so much to see and do that you really need a weekend to get around it all !

roll on 1st weekend in August 2010 !
