Sick and tired of my rusty white bull bars, step and rear bar etc with the rust comming through.
Anyone know someone in the South West (Ideally Exeter area), who does sand-blasting/chrome ??
Failing this I'm gonna dremmel tool sand them down (with the wire brush attachment) / paint strip them,
Treat with rust cure, fine sand down again, White undercoat and then spray chrome effect (but not as good
as real chrome) _________________ K Reg Mitsubishi Delica Star Wagon 2.5T D.

Have you thought about having them powder coated? More durable and longer lasting than chrome I reckon. I had a set of l200 wheels done and when I get round to it, I'm going to have the nudge bars, side steps and ladder done the same shade of gark grey as the lower half of the Deli 8-) .
Just a thought,
John. |
