Hi guy's following on from the thread in new member introductions with mr BFG and all us other Devon newbies, as promised here is the start of arranging a
Devon meet in the near future , pre Brean.

I will need to edit the post to show a date to keep in line with mod's request's as soon as possible but just looking to get a feel for how many would be interested  Question

Any suggestions of meeting places would be appreciated along with potential dates from everyone.

Hope we can get something arranged soon

Keep the grin

Neil

I'm happy with anywhere in devon and date to suit everyone.

unable to suggest location as I've only been here for 8 months.but maybe talk to some land owners or farmers to see if we could use a field..bbq also sounds good. :D

What about Plymouth?!  Within, say, the next two weeks?  Bring all your tools, spares and know-how as well perhaps?!

Well, whenever you do decide upon, let's hope we're not already back in the UK with our tails between our legs and our heads hung low...  If for whatever reason we are, then we'll definitely be there!

Hi everyone, hope the date is okay first day of summer and all that , longer evenings more time to play and to be honest the only Sunday afternoon I have off for a while  Shocked

I have been looking on tinternet for suitable places to keep all unsundry occupied, anyone been to the Haldon Forest Centre. £1 to park all day loads for the kids to do and a BBQ area. Reasonably central for those who are interested so far.

Let me know if you are gonna attend and I can put a list together , I will also ring the ranger to see if I can put my Gazebo up  hopefully with some YD's attached.

Keep the grin

cheers

Neil

Yes Jason, think all those interested are happy with venue, I went near there to play in the snow so guess there is a possibilty of finding some where to take the busses but thinking more of a social Pre brean , will post about BBQ etc, I have a gas one which I could bring ( I like fire Twisted Evil  and meat Twisted Evil )
and if you guys bring some stuff I am quite happy to cook it.

Will also check with the ranger to see if I can put my gazebo up.

Keep watching for updates  :D  and if you see or chat with any more of the Devon Mafia let them know we'll be there.

Thanks

Neil

The Deli is in the garage at the mo having its water pump sorted, hopefully have it back on the road by then if it is only the water pump that needs doing, should find out tomorrow [fingers crossed]

Whats with the Devon mafia thing, are you lot getting stickers made up if so put me down for some.

Where is the Haldon forest centre? any chance of a map or a postcode to plumb into the sat nav?

cheers

Charlie

count me and the tribe in...... but i will have to leave early as i am on duty sundays  Rolling Eyes  Crying or Very sad  !

so i will get there early to help you set up if you like

so is it still bugboy ? or as its devon maffia bugy as in malone  Laughing

i will have a look at my map's for a little green lane activerty, if any one is intrested to do a few but they will just be green lanes not extream laning !

i will go do a look see to make sure they can be driven... since its nice i may go up there in the morning ( any excuse to go off road )

can we decide on a channel for the CB radio for the devon area members to use ? so when we are out and about if we spot a Deli or Y/D we can give a holla on the channel number.....  Wink

if they don't let you put the gazza up or permit BBQ's ummm meat !! then let me know and i'll show you a parking area that we can use up there.

Thanks Jason for replying to Charlie, I'm only 2 miles out of Cully but the tinternet is so intermittent I'm thinking of sending #@#@/@ smoke signals in future.

Good idea Lee re lanes, I was gonna speak to you about that when I pop in next as some might fancy a little detour, however must admit don't fancy anything too green / brown as I can't afford to fixing the thing again, talking of which she is still at the garage  Crying or Very sad  God only know's what they are doing and what they think they might charge me  Evil or Very Mad

Anyway guy's looks as if we have ourselfs a right good thing going with the "family" nudge nudge  Wink   Wink

Big up da Devon Mafia

Mallone ??  ( hmm like that Lee thanks )
