Alloy wheels

I had mine powder coated...
this meant they were fully sand blasted, re-furbed and then coated in epoxy and baked....

costs about £160 for 4 15" wheels but the result lasts far longer than spraying them !

I have another set of wheels that I plan a DIY re-spray on using 2 pack paint

If you can find me a set of new alloys 7x16" for £160 let me know !  Laughing

£40 is a common price to refurb an alloy wheel...

this place doesn't just paint them though.. they powder coat them so the finish lasts much much longer...

side step is pretty easy to to, mine snapped off and i got another from someone on here, pretty shiyy condition
but with a bit of scotching and an aerosol it looked like new.
i spyaed my wheels, got set of standard L300 alloys from e-bay, again pertty awefull condition, quick scotch, spayed em
with some wheel siver aerosols and they look fine. that was about 3 years ago now and they still look good. sure
another spray wouldn't go amiss but they are still more than okay.

these guys do not spray paint... that stuff comes off...
they powder coat so you have a layer of plastic melted over the wheel...

very very hard wearing !

the white steels are painted.... never seen them powder coated...

if they were they would not rust ....

lamp posts (street lights) and street sign posts are plain steel with a powder coating, some are Galved most are not
(I have a customer who makes them)
and they don't rust do they ?
