Just brought a new header/expansion tank, is it a strait swap one out one in. will i need to refill the cooling system ?

easy job !

take out the battery...

remove the 2 bolts, the single nut then remove the pipes,
fit pipes on new tank and top up with antfreeze..

you tend to loose about a litre of coolant....
