can any one tell me if my delli 2.8 is up to the job of towing a car trailer with a range rover on it as i need to move one thats reached the end of its life

It's up to the job, but whether it's legal or not is a different issue!

There are Licence issues and legal issues to consider 8-)

There are loads of articles on the net about 'safe towing weights'

The NTTA is a great website, with all sorts of information about towing

thanks for the replys job now done and as you said she was was defo upto the job but as for being legal or not i am still unsure had my licence over 24 years as the weight id think no as Deli is about 2.2ton and the range rover was around the 3 ton mark but no problems with the delli actualy pulling it.
i did get a few funny looks tho
