I might as well start this off as I am probably the 1st man home! Sorry had to leave early guys but 1/ had to relieve my babysitter (looking after my 21 month old son) and 2/ had to pick the missus up from work!
Anyway had a great time (my 1st time off road), found it a bit hairy in places even on the green route but am suprised at how well Delia coped!
Many thanks must go to Mark (Strangerover) and to John Cook for allowing me and my Dad to accompny them around parts of the red route. There was no way I could have took Delia around them, my wife would have battered me if I damaged the bus
Had a great time anyway, and as soon as I get my camera recharged I will post some photos.

I have pics to sort... a bit of video...
but this was what it was all about for me..
10 Delica's in one place is good... but 10 of them in a pay'n'play site even better...
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y299/strangerover/Delica/Cowm%20Nov%2008/GroupShot.jpg
when you see what else was there I think we raised a few eyebrows !!!
When the weather is better we must do it again !
As for damage...
well those who did the green route may have the odd dent in the bash plate...
I had a seriously bent rock slider and minor dent to the sliding door (it was penciled in for a respray anyway)
that all came from the red sections....
More pics later......
As for the venue.... Cowm Leisure deserve a mention as they really operate a professional set up...
Marshals to ensure you only go were your supposed to go ! well marked out and a decent jet wash to end the day !!!
Glad you all enjoyed who came ! those that didn't make it.... maybe next time ! _________________ Regards

Thanks Mark for organising that one...
First time we've had the car off road, piece of cake... just need to lift it and stick some bigger wheels on now... ££££
We also left a little early after the second convoy around... Think most of you got sidetracked by some
red route muddy bits... we had Sunday roast, Yorkshire puds and some beers waiting in the fridge...
Got some pictures and vid to sort...
'Til the next time

Strangerover got a bit puddled as well!
I did follow as tail end Charlie on the last run, with all the Deli's together, with the video camera going.
At 25 mins+ there were some sections with most if not all of the Deli's on, so I will edit up something with highlights and try to get that on screen tomorrow. _________________

Hi all,
What a fantastiic day, I really Can't believe how well the Delica handled everything that was thrown at it and it still wanted more!!
Apart from the little de-tour into some deep water where I managed to get the Deli stuck for 5 minutes (it did get out under its own steam tho) :D
Fan belt decided to squeal a bit this morning and the brakes had frozen solid but aside from that, no damage at all.
Will def be there for the next one.
Shaun. |

Bit hard to use them when your wheels are not in contact with the ground. :? _________________

Felt like it! I (and tonkatruck) were both pushing our feet down as hard as possible to the floor! :? _________________
