Another con (like the water for fuel fiasco) or something genuine? I got a quote for £169 inc vat and delivery. Should I be wary?

What do you guys think?

Cheers in advance

I think rust is all about owning a vehicle.

At present, owning the Deli hasn't delivered me expectations fo what I expected of a 16 year old vehicle. I haven't any rust yet I rcently sold the mother in laws Vauxhall Corsa for £950 on an S plate and it had a rust hole the size of a bullet oile in the drivers door....dead centre.

If the Deli was susceptable ( Can't spell ) to rust problems then okay maybe we should go down that route but I can't imagine why we would be looking.

Surely, SwizZer you haven't any noticeable rust ...do you ?

Perhaps I'll get some soon, but would like to think the rust would be welcomed here into my Deli life and would tackle it the primeaval way......thick coats of red oxide...just to let the onlookers now I've got a rust problem and I will tackle it and not let it beat me....

I've taken a look at the site and it all seems a bit ( not sure what to say ) seeling something that may help. My missus is constantly on a diet and that doesn't' work either......

let's welcome a little rust...there's not enough of it about these days !

Lol....sorry, but my keyboard has been renewed and I'm able to type at my hearts content without having to go back and check....sticky keys and all that.....( woolworths crap silver keyboard - second on in 6 months ) now gone to a microsoft keyboard...shhhh....I can't even here the keys being types....

hello......is that a man ...no...two men...in white coats heading this way !

"Reduces effects such as car-sickness and static zap."

I've always wanted to use this smiley but not had the opportunity until now:

Search this page for "Rust bug killer"

http://www.dansdata.com/danletters153.htm

He goes into quite a lot of detail about why it won't work.

I found this on another forum:

Interesting. It shows a F40 on the front page. A car made of Carbon Fibre, Kevlar and Aluminium etc. Why would that need rust prevention. Maybe they just like Ferraris Twisted Evil

Thats one of the reasons why I said pass. The motorhome has an Alko aluminium chassis and a glassfibre monocoque body.

Sacrificial anodes work fine on Steel hulled ships and boats, but they ain't much use on a fibreglass or wooden hulled one, and as for on a carbodywork - gimme a break - The 'designer' should be given a Darwin Award for intellectual stupidity.  Evil or Very Mad
