|
|
Have sent for a tow bar for my 1995 Delica 7 seater. Hoping to fit it myself.wondering if it is straightforward and also, it seems the towbar will be ratjher high on the Delica, has anyone had any problems when hitching their caravan up to it. |

welcome to the club, if you look in the pictures please thread on the caravan section it will give you some ideas as to how a caravan looks hooked up to the Deli. hth. _________________ L400 GREEN OVER GREY 2.8 TD CRYSTALITE ROOF.BORN TO LIVE..BORN TO DRIVE..

if you got a towbar from towequipe (same as me) then it is possible to put the main cross bar on the wrong way up,
I did this with mine when looking at the instruction picture and it took a little while to realise - tow ball will cover bumber.
easy enough to turn the other way up,
there were some pics on here of the right and wrong way but I Can't find them now,
Dave
p.s.
just found these and the top shows how it should look when mounted the right way up

hope you don't mind Dave, couldn't find any others at moment _________________ 1994 L400 all blue 2.8td 5sp manual, with a L.S.D.

Wrong way.
Right way.:D
The Towequipe fitting diagram can be a little misleading.
