Wifes just said "not a chance", that's that dream over. She's cool with a canopy, curtains and sleeping in the back but not the full conversion. I'm sure I'll talk her round. |

I recently added a fold out cooker hood of sorts (2 more computer sides pop riveted to hinges) to protect the roof of my van from the heat and steam looks a little weird but does the job a treat!!!

Hey jonnygamble good to see another geordie on here! Do you know any other Delica owners up here? I know there are 3 that live within 5 miles of me and one has yellow diamonds in his window but never seem to see them on here. _________________

hey lionsden, i'm sometimes in 'tha toon', but i live over middlesbrough way.
i've just made a semi-conversion really similar to yours too. i used an ikea kitchen cabinet on its side and stuck a basin and a hob in.
i'll fire up some pics 2moro.
i was worried about heat from the burners reaching the roof, so i ended up not using a twin burner and just put a single in instead. you've made me realise i should have a fire extinguisher fitted too. |
