....to get a towbar.  Rolling Eyes

It's a Trust Towbar from Towequipe via ebay. At a bargain price if I say so myself.  Razz

And before anyone asks any technical questions the answer is "I don't know".  Embarassed  Razz
It was fitted by my local garage because they aren't as thick as me.  Laughing

Any excuse to show off my ar5e end.  8-)

You know something, I thought it didn't look right and the hitch was a bit high  :?

Guess where I'm going in the morning.  Evil or Very Mad

Now I'm really glad I didn't do it.  Laughing  Laughing

EDIT: Just had a close look and it is upsidedown. B*gger!

Job sorted.  :D

I think I prefer it upsidedown though.  Razz

To be fair to the lad at the garage, the fitting diagram does give the impression that the bar should be 'upsidedown'.

Yup, and now your sockets will get bent all about whenever you go off-road.  If only the sockets could be mounted higher... must be a plate that can do that somewhere.

Off-road???  OFF-ROAD!!!!!!!!!  Shocked  Shocked  You mean.... GET IT DIRTY????  Shocked  Shocked

You're right Tony, the sockets bracket could do to be angled above the hitch really. The rear clearance has dropped a couple of inches because of the hitch bracket and it's nicely shaped to act as a scoop too.  Rolling Eyes

One of these is the best option, raises the sockets and protects the rear bumper too. Wink
