i bought godzilla 4 yrs ago and other than oil and filter brake pads never had a prob, till ysterdy, er indoors went t toddler group, turned left on full crank and the steering wheel  jammed and would not return. after a few more attempts she managed to free it. had a look at it today and it seems to b a problem in the steering column itself, just wondered if anyone else has had same trouble b4 i start taking it apart.
thanks

I had a problem with mine , in that the shaft below the column , the one with 2 u/js , the lower u/j had started to seize .
Easy to check just release from the column and try to ascertain if there is any stiffness , on mine the top one was okay but the bottom one seized . Some people have tried dosing it in WD40 overnight but I would think that it's only a stopgap remedy.
If it's not that , while the shaft is released you would be able to check the column itself .
Other than that the other places to check are the trackrod joints and make sure that the wheels are not catching on anything on full lock .

Hope that helps .

Derek.
